Interview on WAHM-Articles.com

I am very excited because I was recently interviewed by Denise from WAHM-Articles.com about my day care and my Start a Day Care DVD Guide (www..startchildcare.com) and said interview is now posted for all to see.  It was a real honor to be asked and it was a very interesting exercise in that I really had to think about the reasons why I am doing what I do and how it came to be.  Sometimes you can get so swept away by day to day minutiae that you lose sight of the bigger picture.  It is a good idea to to take time out occasionally and assess where we are at and what direction we are travelling in thus ascertaining if we are actually on the path that is right for us.  Perhaps have a diary, jot down your goals and during these 'assessments' amend/delete said goals as necessary. 

I was pleased with the picture painted of my career path during this interview.  I realised that i really have made the right decisions (for the most part) and feel very fortunate to be doing what I do.  I've said it before and I'll say it again and again - starting a day care was one of the best moves I have ever made.  My freedom to be with my child, to work for myself, to help shape little lives and to develop other businesses is priceless.  Reading the interview I found myself thinking 'wow, that chick has a good thing going'.  Here is the interview for anyone who would like to read it plus it's worth checking out this great site:
