Buying a Computer for Your Day Care

My conputer is a vital element of my business.  I happen to have a lap top which is great as I can move it around as needed - office, living room or day care (for showing staff and kids slide shows or pictures).  I have broadband and this has proved invaluable with the internet providing me with resources for my child care business I could only before have dreamed of - ideas, lesson plans, information on how to better run my day care.

 I also use my computer as the command center of the business side of my day care e.g. for parent/child records, availability, payroll, accounts, all paperwork/contracts and on.  I can't imagine what I did before my technological initiation.  It's kind of scary to think how this little box of tricks has become more valuable than my right arm!! 

My computer made starting and running my day care business so much easier than it might have been.  Purchasing a computer for your day care is a given (as far as I'm concerned) but choose wisely and be sure you get what you need for the job.  Here is an article I wrote with a few tips on what to look out for during this process……
