Day Care Marketing Via Local Networking

2

Can I just say….don't ever underestimate the power of local business networking and support groups.  These bands of business folk are veritable fonts of knowledge and support and can really enhance both you and your business.

- Local library should provide you with information regarding any business advisory organisations provided by retired entrepreneurs. These groups will have a healthy business and local knowledge and should be able to provide some fruitful pointers regarding marketing.

- Chamber of Commerce; Not only do they provide business resources and a reference library they also arrange regular social, networking events where local business owners can meet, chat, advise and often, via word of mouth, push business towards fellow members.

- Leads groups who meet once a week to brainstorm and try to help each other find new business. Each group will have only one representative from each industry. They swop business cards and also take turns giving presentations about what they do.

On a more general note;

- Local business fairs – Get friendly with the features writer at your local newspapers and try to get a unique article
written about your day care (you'll have to find an angle that makes you different e.g. Day Care Goes Green)
- Run a cheap, ongoing lineage add under the day care section of the paper and find out whenever they are running an educational or child related supplement.
